To update from Version 1 to Version 2:
Click this link and then click Download at the YouSendIt website: GetUpdate_v2_0. Download the file and Save it to a location on your computer. Next Double-click the Show Barn Manager Update icon where you saved it on your computer. You need to Allow and Open the first part of the update; it will tell you it has completed successfully. Then click Install to finish installing the update.
Changes from Version 1 to Version 2 that require your input:
--You will need to enter a number into the "change interval by" box for each Due Date record in order for the program to calculate the next due date. ("0" is the most likely number you will enter, but any positive or negative number will change the interval by the amount you enter.) Until you enter a number in this box the Next Due Date will read "#Error". Some forms and reports that are dependent on due dates may not display properly or at all until this is done. Start with just your current horses and records and change others as you need to.
--You will need to uncheck the "Needs Booster" box from all earlier Vaccination records in order for those records to be removed form the Booster Due Date list.
--Please print out any current Vaccination records from Version 1 so that you can enter them in the new Version 2 format. This new format allows for a much greater amount of information and fine tuning in your Vaccination Records, however, you will need to add all of this new information in order for it to be the most useful.
